This is because the devs have shown they listen to the community, are active, and actually seek out help and content from everyone who shows they want to be involved. I've continually stayed active for over 3 years of development. You get to speak right to the devs.Į) Even though the setbacks, the way I spent my time was helping with suggestions and concepts on the forums and to the devs.

Mainly, I see it a couple ways.Ī) I have a ton of other stuff IRL to do regardless if STN is playable or not.ī) I have several other games I enjoy to play to keep me occupied until Backer Release and/or Alpha drops.Ĭ) They have shown continual progress via update threads/vids on their Kickstarter page, Humble Store, Steam page, and especially the STN website forums.ĭ) They are active daily in their Discord chat channels, where mostly any legitimate question is answered almost directly. They admitted that they were much too overambitious with the intial release dates, and even some of the later ones. And, yes, they have apologized also for it numerous times. Yes, they did miss some early dates for sure. Might as well get fighting a case for my refund now thinking about it.
LOL its getting released to alpha there is going to be plenty of bugs and going by how long its took them to get to this position its going to be an update every couple of months.

I only brought a key at the start of July and already impatient, i cant even imagine how the backers from 2014 feel, You have people saying just be patient id rather a bug free game. Getting beyond a joke how they have had backers from like 2014 paying for a game they can't even release a stable version of the Game for 3 years, Yes i know there has been problems with moving engine and updates of the engine that bug things out but really nothing within 3 years. waited for alpha to came out before i brought a key as i knew games had a bad reputation for not being release and RUNNING OFF with money, forgot all about the game to hear alpha is to be released in July 2017 so as hyped to see the game come back (Always thought the game looked amazing) i brought a key, Stupidly realizing its already took them over 3 years and still can't get the game in a stable condition even for alpha. Yup, i seen this game 3 years ago when Frankie did a video IN 2014. If you can think of any additional rules that would benefit the subreddit then please message one of the mods, we want to make this subreddit a good place for discussion about Survive the Nights.
